Playhouse for the Kiddos

As some of you have heard, Emma Kate was so very lucky to win a playhouse. Jason had heard that they were giving this away during a rodeo. Since she had to be present to win, we headed to the rodeo. Emma had been sick the couple of days before (from the heat) and so we were trying to get her better to go. So we got to the rodeo and she was less than thrilled. She thought it stunk and did not like the horses. Ashlie and Livvie loved it though :) There were girls all dressed up on the horses (the local rodeo queens and princesses) and she thought that was the coolest thing ever. Well, until one of them got bucked off and had to be taken away in an ambulance. Kinda changed her mind after that. :) Anyway. We sat through half the rodeo before they did the drawing. They read a little girls name and she wasn't there. Then they read a little boys name and he wasn't there. Then they pulled the third name and it was..Emma Kate Pepperd. Holy cow. I thought Ashlie was going to fly out of the bleachers. Emma on the other hand had no clue what was happening. Jason took her down there to get her picture taken for the paper. She looked terrified. But she won the house and all of the girls are loving it!
